Write the caption once, on the idea

This week in ContentCrew, captions live on the idea with per-platform versions, and client comments join your team's activity timeline.

You know the caption that lives in four places: the doc, the draft, the scheduler, and the message to the client. Now it lives in one. The caption sits on the idea itself, so you write it once and it flows through to every draft, the publish dialog, and share links. The new caption page shows a character counter for each platform, lets you adjust the text for a single platform, and holds the YouTube title. AI variations wait in a side panel, and one tap on “Use this” puts one in place.

Feedback moved onto the idea too. Client comments from a share link now appear in the same Activity list as your team’s, clearly marked, and your team gets a notification the moment a client comments. Reply internally inside a client thread, right next to the client’s note. When the feedback is about one line, select that text in the idea’s description and comment there. The highlight stays anchored as the description changes, and the activity feed shows the quote, along with what changed if the text has moved on.

The work around content deserves the same single home as the content itself. This week the idea got a lot closer to being that home.

Plenty more landed around it. Idea descriptions take rich text, such as bold, lists, and links, and save as you type, and a new idea opens in a quick dialog from anywhere in the app. B-roll notes show up in the Script preview, even next to spoken lines. Drafts accept source videos up to 1 GB, and campaign contributors can send full-size phone videos through a share link, see your example brief videos, download your brief files, and play videos full screen. Your Plan shows posts scheduled more than 6 months out. In Insights, tap a post’s cover to open the live post on the platform.

Open an idea today and write its caption there, then check how it reads on each platform before the first draft arrives. Everything else from the week is in the changelog.
